Central University of Europe PhD students Bedika Chkhetiani, Salome Karchkhadze and Mariam Chakvetadze participated in the first PhD Summer School in Bulgaria, hosted by the Saints Cyril and Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo.
The diverse program of the Summer School included lectures, workshops and interactive sessions led by leading scientists. The PhD students learned about the history, culture and art of Bulgaria, discussed the role of artificial intelligence in education, explored strategies for publishing academic articles and shared the role of social media in scientific activity.
The PhD students also presented their research projects, discussed methodological challenges and received valuable feedback from both colleagues and visiting professors.
The meetings took place from June 16 to June 20, 2025, and brought together young researchers from across Europe, the Caucasus and North Africa for a week of academic exchange, collaboration and professional development.
The Doctoral Summer School is another important milestone for the doctoral students of the Central University of Europe, who are actively working to present their research in the international scientific space and study the latest trends in European science.
