The Tbilisi Campus of the Faculty of Medicine at the Central University of Europe provides a modern environment for medical education. The campus features lecture halls, a library, anatomy and biochemistry laboratories, immunology and microbiology laboratories, a simulation center, and histology/pathology training rooms – all fully equipped for high-quality learning and research.

Our English-language graduate medical program is also accredited by the National Center for the Development of Quality in Education in accordance with the requirements of the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME). The members of the Bologna process are the EU countries, Great Britain, Ukraine and others. In general, this means that the diploma issued by Central University of Europe is recognized in EU countries, Great Britain and other countries.

The Faculty of Medicine of Central University of Europe is included in the World Directory of Medical Schools of the World Health Organization, which is a joint initiative of the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME) and the International Organization for the Development of Medical Education and Research (FAIMER). It is the most important database of accredited medical programs in the world.

Central University of Europe is located in the database used by the Erik-Narik network. The Enik-Narik network is a joint initiative of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO, as a tool for accessing updated information on authorized and accredited educational organizations and quality systems in Europe, Great Britain, the United States of America, Russia, Turkey, Israel and New Zealand.

Central University of Europe is an individual associate member of EUA (European Universities Association).

Central University of Europe is the fifth private university in Georgia to join the Association of European Universities, which is a unique opportunity to be involved in the process of developing European educational policy.

It should be noted that the Association of European Universities is one of the most influential and large-scale organizations that unites European universities and organizations in the field of education. Based in Brussels, the association has more than 800 members from 48 European countries and plays a key role in shaping the Bologna process and the EU’s higher education, research and innovation agenda.

In addition, EUA is a platform through which member universities share knowledge and interesting practices and participate in joint projects and other international educational activities.

Association of European Medical Education (AMEE)

We are a member of the European Medical Education Association, which has members worldwide in 90 countries and 5 continents. The organization promotes the development of international medical education at the undergraduate and further levels, as well as in the direction of continuing education.

Central University of Europe is currently running a single-level medical degree program open to international and local students. 

Medical Doctor (MD) ( Kutaisi Campus )

  • Duration of education: 6 years. (12 semesters)
  • Program volume: 360 credits.
  • Tuition: $4,000 per year.

Medical Doctor (MD) ( Tbilisi Campus )

  • Academic degree and qualification awarded:  Medical Doctor (MD)
  • Program Status: Accredited
  • Duration of study: 6 years (12 semesters)
  • Program volume: 360 credits (ECTS)
  • Tuition: $5,000 per year.
