Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility Programme, Professor Ketevan Kukhianidze from the Central University of Europe conducted a teaching visit to Alberta College in Latvia.
As part of the academic exchange, Alberta College had the pleasure of hosting Professor Kukhianidze, whose visit aimed to strengthen academic cooperation and promote the exchange of teaching experiences and best practices between the two institutions.
During her visit, Professor Kukhianidze delivered a lecture titled “Business and Commercial Law from the Perspective of the European Court of Human Rights: Case Law, Statistics, and Scholarly Analysis.” The lecture offered Alberta College students valuable insights into the intersection of business law and human rights, highlighting key aspects of European Court of Human Rights jurisprudence and contemporary scholarly approaches to the subject.
As part of the visit, an important meeting was also held with the Directors of the Human Resources and Entrepreneurship programs, during which the parties discussed the preparation of a joint scholarly article. Professor Ketevan Kukhianidze and the representative of Alberta College reached an agreement on the main research directions and methodology and developed a joint work plan to guide their forthcoming collaboration.
The visit further contributed to enhancing international cooperation and advancing the goals of the Erasmus+ programme in fostering academic excellence, research collaboration, and intercultural dialogue.
