Financial Conditions:
Students participating in the Erasmus+ mobility programme must maintain active student status at Central University of Europe throughout the mobility period. To retain this status, each participant is required to pay the semester tuition fee to Central University of Europe, based on the number of credits to be recognised as per the Erasmus+ Learning Agreement.
As Erasmus+ students, selected candidates are exempt from fees for tuition at the host university, registration, examinations, and charges for access to laboratories or libraries at the receiving institution. However, small administrative costs such as insurance or student union membership fees may still apply at the host institution.
Selected students will receive financial assistance through the Erasmus+ grant, which includes:
- Monthly individual support (scholarship)
- Travel support (a one-time contribution for a round trip between Kutaisi and the host university)
Monthly Scholarship:
| Host Country | Country Group | Monthly Amount (€) |
| Italy | Group 1 – higher cost countries | 900 |
| Cyprus | Group 2 – medium cost countries | 850 |
| Croatia, Bulgaria, Poland, Türkiye | Group 3 – lower cost countries | 800 |
Students with fewer opportunities are eligible for an additional top-up of €250 per month.
Expected Travel Support (non-green travel, round trip):
| Destination | Approximate Distance from Kutaisi | Expected Range (€) |
| Croatia (Čakovec) | ~2,100 km | 360 – 395 |
| Cyprus (Nicosia) | ~1,100 km | 275 – 309 |
| Türkiye (Istanbul, Alanya, İzmir, Tokat, Malatya, Kocaeli) | 500–1,400 km | 275 – 309 |
| Bulgaria (Veliko Tarnovo) | ~1,400 km | 275 – 309 |
| Poland (Gliwice) | ~2,000 km | 360 – 395 |
| Italy (Rome) | ~2,480 km | 360 – 395 |
All rates follow the Erasmus+ Programme Guide 2025 and the European Commission Distance Calculator. Some mobilities may be financed from earlier Erasmus+ projects (2024 or 2023 Calls), which may lead to minor variations in grant amounts depending on the specific project call or the host university’s financial arrangements.
Important Considerations:
Please note that, in rare cases, the host university may decline the nomination due to specific institutional criteria. In such cases, European Central University will ensure that an alternative host university is offered whenever possible. Additionally, students should be aware that courses taught in English may be limited in some partner institutions. Therefore, the full 30 ECTS workload might not always be achievable, and students are free to decide whether to accept the offered opportunity or opt for a different host or semester. Changes to the selected university or mobility period may be arranged upon justification and availability.
