On February 7–8, international students from the Central University of Europe took part in a chess championship, which marked the first edition of the Georgian University Cup.
The tournament was held over two days at Georgian State University of Sport and brought together teams from various higher education institutions.
The event proved to be an interesting and valuable experience for members of the university’s chess club. Participants had the opportunity not only to demonstrate their skills, but also to connect and exchange experiences with students from other universities.
The championship was conducted in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere, further motivating the students to actively participate in future tournaments.
