Professionally:
1. 1 Associate Professor – Algorithms and Data Structures
2. 1 Associate Professor – Methodology of Teaching Georgian Language and Literature;
3. 1 Associate Professor – (Methodology of Teaching Social Sciences and Natural Sciences);
4. 3 Assistant Professors – Methodology of Teaching Social Sciences and Natural Sciences;
5. 1 Assistant Professor – Data Structures;
6. 1 Assistant Professor – Russian Language.
2. Competition (qualification) requirements for academic staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Business and Law:
To occupy the academic position of Professor (by academic merit):
• A person with a PhD or equivalent academic degree, who has at least 6 years of experience in scientific and pedagogical work;
• A person who has published (within the last 5 years) scientific publications on the topic of the relevant training courses or is their co-author;
• A person who has experience in developing the relevant training course (syllabus);
To occupy the academic position of Associate Professor (by academic merit):
• A person with a PhD or equivalent academic degree, who has at least 3 years of experience in scientific and pedagogical work;
• A person who has published (within the last 5 years) scientific publications on the topic of the relevant training courses or is their co-author;
• A person who has experience in developing the relevant training course (syllabus).
To hold the academic position of Associate Professor (by professional qualification):
• At least a Master’s degree;
• Relevant professional experience in the field, which can be proven as follows: At least 5 years of work experience in the relevant field;
• At least 3 years of work experience in teaching at a higher educational institution;
• Experience in developing a relevant course (syllabus).
To hold the academic position of Assistant Professor (by professional qualification):
• At least a Master’s degree;
• Relevant professional experience in the field, which can be confirmed by the following qualifications: At least 3 years of work experience in the relevant field;
• Publication in the relevant field (published within the last 5 years) or at least 1 year of work experience in teaching at a higher educational institution.
3. Competition documentation:
The applicant is obliged to submit the following documentation to the Commission at the stage of submitting documents:
a) Application1 for participation in the competition, indicating the relevant field and academic position (the application is submitted electronically and/or on site, to the Human Resources Management and Records Service at info@cue.edu.ge/hr@cue.edu.ge);
b) CV in Georgian and English (preferably in the Central European University format (when sending documents in electronic form);
c) copies/references of identity cards, educational documents/documents confirming qualifications,2 documents confirming pedagogical experience, documents/documents confirming scientific experience;
d) Scientific papers adequate to the competitive position/position, or their copies (published within the last 5 years);
e) Other additional information/documentation (if any);
f) Relevant syllabi (electronic version);
g) Certificate of “Conviction for Crimes Against Sexual Freedom and Inviolability” issued by the Service Agency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
