At “Central University of Europe” a workshop titled “Professional Development Workshop in English Language Teaching” will be held on April 28-29
On April 28-29 “Central University of Europe,” with funding from the U.S. Department of State’s English Language Specialist Program, is organizing the workshop “Professional Development Workshop in English Language Teaching”.
The workshop will be led by Professor Dr. John Lewis from Iowa State University. The intensive program will cover TESOL methodology, the implementation of innovations in the teaching process, introduction to modern approaches, and consultations for PhD Students.
This offers English teachers, researchers, and Post-Doctoral students in Georgia a rare chance to learn from a leading expert in applied linguistics.

11:00 – 13:00: TESOL Methodology: Contemporary Approaches to Oral Language Instruction + Priorities and Teaching Pronunciation
14:30 – 15:30: PhD Student Consultation; Faculty Consultation
April 29
11:00 – 12:30: Practical Techniques for Teaching Intelligible Pronunciation + Current Approaches to Researching Oral Language
14:30 – 15:30: PhD Student Consultation; Faculty Consultation
15:30 – 16:00: Closing Ceremony & Certificate Distribution
