Mental Health Awareness Week Held at Central University of Europe

Central University of Europe hosted its annual Mental Health Awareness Week in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month. The event took place from May 28 to May 31.
As part of the week’s program, Central University of Europe hosted a public lecture for international students titled “Academic Pressure, Professional Burnout, and Productivity Without Exhaustion.”

The lecture was delivered by guest speaker Natia Tabidze, who shared valuable insights and practical recommendations on the impact of academic pressure and chronic stress on mental health, motivation, and academic performance.

During the session, participants explored the key factors contributing to stress in academic environments, as well as effective strategies that help students achieve high academic performance while maintaining their well-being and mental health.

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, activities continued with Wellness Days, an initiative aimed at supporting the mental well-being of international students and creating a safe and supportive environment for them. Participants had the opportunity to receive confidential one-on-one consultations with psychologists.

The Psychological Counseling Center operates under the Student and Alumni Services Center of, Central University of Europe, providing students with access to professional psychological support and counseling services.
