Alberta College Erasmus+ Coordinator Visits Central University of Europe to Strengthen Institutional Cooperation

On October 23, The Central University of Europe in Kutaisi hosted a delegation from a Latvian university — Alberta College (Riga, Latvia) — as part of an Erasmus+ teaching visit, welcoming Erasmus+ coordinator Veronika Beluza.

This visit marked an important step toward enhancing international academic cooperation between the universities, improving quality assurance, and planning joint research and teaching initiatives.

Erasmus+ coordinator Veronika Beluza held meetings with the university’s administrative and academic staff, including Dr. Teona Grigolashvili (Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Business, and Law), Giorgi Datuashvili (Head of Strategic Development), Tatia Kharabadze (Head of the Quality Assurance Office), Maka Tsertsvadze (International Relations Manager), and Dr. Gocha Ugulava (Head of the Institute for Economic Research).

The main objectives of the meetings were to strengthen Erasmus+ mobility coordination, plan joint international projects, and promote academic and scientific partnerships.

Veronika Beluza also joined Associate Professor Sandra Tetere, Ketevan Kukhianidze, and other colleagues in planning a joint scientific article titled “Enhancing the Development of Entrepreneurial Competences in Higher Education: A Comparative Analysis of Latvia and Georgia.”

The teaching mobility further reinforced The Central University of Europe ,mission to build strong strategic partnerships and implement European best practices in education, management, and research administration.
