On May 18, 2025, an educational excursion to the Guria region was organized by the Tourism Club “Colchian Steps”, operating under the Student Self-Government of the Central University of Europe , with the support of the Center for Student and Alumni Services. The purpose of the event was to introduce international students to Georgia’s natural and cultural heritage.
The students were guided by members of the Tourism Club, who had prepared detailed information in advance regarding the historical and natural characteristics of the visited locations.
Participants explored the Dendrological Park, the Musical Park, and the Tskvermaghala Park.
Alongside the journey through nature, students had the opportunity to engage in interpersonal interaction, share their impressions, and turn the new environment into a calm and positive experience.
At the end of the day, a reflection session was held during which participants shared their impressions and emotions with one another.
The Center for Student and Alumni Services played an active role in organizing the excursion, being involved in the overall planning and logistical support of the process.
The Tourism Club “Colchian Steps” will continue to organize similar activities in the future, promoting the diversification of student life, the strengthening of friendly relations between international and local students, and the advancement of experience-based learning.
