Central University of Europe (CUE, Georgia) and Hitit University (Türkiye) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening and expanding academic cooperation between the two institutions.
With this agreement, Hitit University becomes CUE’s 10th partner university in Türkiye, further reinforcing the university’s strategic focus on developing international cooperation with Turkish higher education institutions. CUE already maintains partnerships with universities located in Istanbul, Tokat, Antalya, Alanya, Samsun, Muğla, Malatya, and Uşak.
CUE and Hitit University are already cooperating within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 programme. The newly signed MoU serves to broaden the scope of collaboration beyond Erasmus+, providing a comprehensive institutional framework for long-term academic cooperation.
The Memorandum covers areas such as student and staff exchange, joint research initiatives, exchange of academic and scientific materials, participation in joint workshops and training activities, and other mutually agreed academic endeavors.
Central University of Europe continues to actively expand its international partnership network, and agreements of this kind represent a key element of the university’s internationalization strategy.
