Tamar Pertaia, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the Central University of Europe, visited the Riga Medical College of the University of Latvia from March 10 to 14, 2025.
The visit was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ international credit mobility project between the Central University of Europe and the Riga Medical College.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the results of the existing cooperation with the Riga Medical College and new directions. Within the framework of the above, Tamar Pertaia met with the Director of the Riga Medical College, Axel Roshoff, Deputy Director, Sarmita Wieler, and the Head of the Department of Medicine, Linda Alondere. The visit to the University of Latvia was hosted by the Erasmus+ Coordinator, Ivars Pekainis.
During the working meetings, special emphasis was placed on deepening future cooperation; Including the prospects for the development of joint programs, clinical bases, and educational exchange programs.
