Central University of Europe (CUE) announces a call for applications for students of the PhD program in Economics. Within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 program, it is possible to undertake a short-term study and research visit at two partner universities in Turkey.
The program aims to develop the research potential of PhD students, strengthen international academic connections, and support their professional growth.
Available Quotas:
Kayseri University (Turkey)
Mobility duration: 5–14 days, including travel days.
Planned period: the second week of May 2026, according to the schedule of the host university.
Karabük University (Turkey)
Mobility duration: 13 days, including travel days.
The exact dates of the visit are flexible, however the mobility must take place during the Spring Semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.
Participation Requirements
To submit an application, the candidate must:
- be enrolled in the PhD Program in Economics at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Business and Law;
- have a minimum GPA of 2.50;
- demonstrate English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level;
- submit a motivation letter, CV, and a brief description of the research plan.
Selection Criteria
- Candidates will be evaluated based on the following criteria: academic performance, level of English language proficiency, relevance of the research profile, and the results of the interview conducted in English.
- Students with special needs will be given priority in the evaluation process in accordance with Erasmus+ policy.
