Tatia Dolidze, Head of the International Relations Office of the Central University of Europe, participated in the International Week “Dynamics of Internationalization” held at the Comenius University in Bratislava on May 12-16.
At the event, Erasmus officers and other administrative and academic staff from various distinguished universities in Europe shared their experiences, developed partnerships and discussed issues of internationalization of higher education.
During the week, attention was focused on such important topics as student engagement, communication strategies, international mobility and inclusiveness. Workshops, interactive sessions and real-life experiences of colleagues were held in order to strengthen the “Erasmus+” program and international relations.
Tatia Dolidze shared the experience of internationalization of the Central University of Europe with her colleagues, especially highlighting the methods of promoting mobility, online communication and student support. Her speech aroused great interest and started an active discussion on the needs and opportunities of small universities on the way to establishing strong international ties.
During the week, many useful meetings were held: there were discussions on effective advertising methods, support for students with special needs, and psychological health of students. The participants also participated in cultural events, which were a great opportunity to establish informal relationships and get to know local traditions. They traveled to Modra, where they painted pottery, and visited the Šenkvice Winery, where they tasted Slovak wine.
Participation in such events by the Central University of Europe confirms that the university cares about strengthening international partnerships and developing global education.
