\"Mathematical Scientific Slam\" dedicated to the International Day of Mathematics was held at Central University of Europe. The event, organized by Central University of Europe's Research Institute of Economics and NGO \"Mathematician\", took place in a hybrid mode.<\/p>

According to the decision of the 40th session of UNESCO, the International Day of Mathematics is celebrated on March 14, which is associated with the number pi (3.14). The International Mathematical Day project is led by the International Mathematical Union with the support of many international and regional organizations around the world.<\/p>

Central University of Europe is the only higher education institution of Georgia, which was included in the world map depicting the events dedicated to the International Day of Mathematics, where more than 1400 events of different countries of the world are depicted.<\/p>

Scientific Slam is one of the forms of scientific communication of a scientific-popular nature, where scientists talk to non-specialists about the main and important scientific ideas of modern times, including their own scientific research.<\/p>

The speakers talked about the historical path of mathematics, interesting issues of this science, modern studies and problems:
Mikheil Gagoshidze - Associate Professor of Central University of Europe, Head of Information Technology Service;
Gocha Ugulava - Associate Professor of Central University of Europe, Head of the Research Institute of Economics;
Besiki Tabatadze - affiliated Associate Professor of European University.

At Central University of Europe, organized by the Research Institute of Economics, a presentation of books published by the academic staff during the last year was held. The event was held in the reading hall of Central University of Europe library in hybrid mode.<\/p>
