Authors are required to ensure the accurate and proper citation of all sources used in their work. All submitted papers will be checked using specialized plagiarism detection software. Any similarities identified by the system will be individually evaluated by the Chair of the Scientific Committee, in consultation with committee members if necessary, to determine their legitimacy. If the level of detected similarity exceeds the system's established threshold, the author will be notified of the plagiarism issue, and the paper will not be accepted for the conference.<\/p><p>In the event that plagiarism is discovered by a third party after the paper has been published, the individual who identifies the issue may submit a request for investigation to the Scientific or Organizing Committee. The request must include documentation from the plagiarism detection software showing the overlap. If plagiarism is confirmed, an official statement regarding the incident will be published.<\/p><p><strong>Paper Review and Acceptance Procedure<\/strong><\/p><p>To be accepted for presentation at the conference, each submission must undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers are selected by the Chair of the Scientific Committee in consultation with its members. Reviewers are scholars affiliated with various universities whose academic qualifications and research expertise are aligned with the subject matter of the submitted paper. A paper will be accepted only if it receives two positive reviews.<\/p><p>Once the paper is submitted within the specified deadline, the following steps are undertaken:<\/p><ol><li>Technical Review \u2013 The submission is evaluated for compliance with the formatting guidelines and thematic relevance to the conference. Submissions that do not meet these criteria are rejected at this stage, and the author is notified.<\/li><li>Plagiarism Screening \u2013 Papers passing the technical review are checked using plagiarism detection software. Papers with confirmed plagiarism are immediately disqualified, and the author is informed.<\/li><li>Peer Review \u2013 If the paper passes both the technical review and plagiarism check, it is sent to selected reviewers for evaluation.<\/li><\/ol><p>Following the peer review, the Scientific Committee will make one of the following decisions and notify the author accordingly:<\/p><ul><li>Acceptance for presentation<\/li><li>Rejection of the paper<\/li><li>Conditional acceptance with required revisions<\/li><\/ul><p>If revisions are required, the author will be notified and granted time to resubmit a revised version addressing the reviewers\u2019 comments. Failure to submit the revised version within the allotted time will result in automatic rejection. Upon resubmission, the Scientific Committee will re-evaluate whether the feedback has been adequately addressed and issue a final decision.<\/p><p>Papers are scored on a 100-point scale, with a minimum of 60 points required for a positive review. The evaluation is based on the following criteria (each worth up to 20 points): Relevance of the topic; Alignment of conclusions with objectives and research questions; Level of scientific novelty; Theoretical, applied, and practical significance of the research; Structure of the text and adherence to academic citation standards<\/p><p><strong>Paper Submission<\/strong><\/p><p>Submissions must be sent within the specified deadlines to the following email address of the Institute for Economic Research:\u00a0 <a href=\"mailto:rie@cue.edu.ge\">rie@cue.edu.ge<\/a><\/p><p>Upon receiving a notification of acceptance, the presenter will be considered officially registered for the conference.<\/p><p>\u00a0<strong>Author Communication<\/strong><\/p><p>Communication with the author(s) will be carried out via the email address provided at the time of submission. In the case of multiple authors, communication will be directed to the first (primary) author listed.<\/p><p>The official submission date of the paper is recorded as the timestamp of the email sent from the author's address.<br \/>A submission is considered officially received once the organizing committee sends a confirmation email, regardless of any other circumstances.<\/p><p><strong>Open Science Policy<\/strong><\/p><p>Central University of Europe is committed to promoting the principles of open science, including open access to research data, scholarly publications, and research methods, as well as the use of open-source tools, standards, and interfaces in research processes. The university employs open publishing tools to enhance the visibility and impact of research, development, and innovation. All research data, scientific publications, presentations, and methodologies presented within the framework of the conference will be made publicly and openly accessible.<\/p><p>Central University of Europe ensures that all processes, information systems, support tools, and guidelines are designed to support implementation of the FAIR principles (Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability). The university reaffirms its commitment to the principles of the Budapest and Berlin Declarations on Open Access, which it has officially endorsed.<\/p><p><strong>Copyright and Licensing<\/strong><\/p><p>Copyrights to the work remain with the author(s).
