Along with European University of Georgia, WSB University of Dobrowa Gorniza (Poland) and David Yellin College of Education (Israel) participated in the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Speakers discussed such an actual topic as the significance of peace education in conflict and post-conflict settings. Presentations covered case studies of Jewish Israeli and Palestinian students, post-WWII Japan and Germany, civic education in Georgia and Politics of education in Turkey.\u00a0 Additionally, best practices of diversity management at higher educations institutions were shared.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Associate Professor of Kutaisi University, Dr. Ketevan Kukhianidze presented the topic: \u201cCivic Education in Georgia: Past Experience and Future Challenges\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0At the end of the webinar, participants were awarded certificates.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0On July 9, 2021 the international public webinar entitled: \u201cPeace Education\u201d was co-organized by Kutaisi University.
