{"id":23122,"date":"2019-06-30T11:28:14","date_gmt":"2019-06-30T11:28:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unik.kerley.ge\/?p=23122"},"modified":"2024-11-04T11:30:31","modified_gmt":"2024-11-04T11:30:31","slug":"957","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cue.edu.ge\/en\/957\/","title":{"rendered":"The successful presentations of the representatives of LLC Kutaisi University at the 7th International Conference on Teacher Education in Israel within the framework of CURE Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 5<sup>th<\/sup>, final international consortium meetings were held this year at the MOFET Institute within the CURE project of European Union program \u201cErasmus+\u201d in Tel Aviv, Israel. The meetings lasted for two days ( 23 and 27 June).<\/p>\n<p>The CURE project consortium members took part in the 7<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0international conference at the same Institute. The Conference \u2013 \u201cThe Story of Innovation in Teacher Education\u201d took place between the meeting days (24, 25 and 26 June). The purpose of the CURE members\u2019 participation was the project dissemination.<\/p>\n<p>The head of Kutaisi University CURE team \u2013 Mr. Elguja Deisadze and the researcher\/teacher \u2013 Mrs. Mariam Kilanava attended the consortium meetings and the conference as well.<\/p>\n<p>Elguja Deisadze made a speech on the discussion topic\u00a0 &#8211; \u201cThe cultivation of active citizenship and democratic values in pedagogical education: the prospects of Israel and Georgia\u201d\u00a0 at the \u201cshort round table\u201d section.<\/p>\n<p>On the 26<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of June, Mariam Kilanava represented the topic &#8211; \u201cThe Benefits of VaKE in Georgian EFL Classes Within the Framework of the CURE project\u201d at the international conference poster section.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the above mentioned successful presentations, the representatives of Kutaisi University actively took part in Consortium conference meetings and made a report for the representative of the EU partner University (Tallinn University) &#8211; Sirje Virkus about the future steps to be done. The report covered the aspects of future collaboration and the sides agreed on the visit data of the Tallinn University representative in Kutaisi (the last week of November in 2019).
