From April 20, 2010 Kutaisi University announced a competition of research projects for intra-university grants. 25 000 GEL were allocated for funding these projects. The deadline for submission of research proposals was June 10, 2010.<\/p>\n

The following three project proposals were submitted:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Regional education market research (Imereti region) \u2013 supervisor Assist. Prof. T. Valishvili;<\/li>\n
  2. Developing strategies for regional economic development in 2011-2015 (Imereti region) \u2013 supervisor Porf. N. Chikhladze;<\/li>\n
  3. Opening new specialized offices at Kutaisi University \u2013 supervisor Assist. Prof. T. Valishvili<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The competition panel reviewed and approved two projects:<\/p>\n

    \u201cImproving strategic development plan of Kutaisi University on the basis of the marketing research and analysis of the environment\u201d\u2013 93 points;<\/p>\n

    \u201cDeveloping strategies for regional economic development in 2011-2015 (Imereti region)\u201d \u2013 95 points.<\/p>\n
