{"id":34121,"date":"2025-11-06T16:31:47","date_gmt":"2025-11-06T12:31:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cue.edu.ge\/?p=34121"},"modified":"2025-11-06T16:52:26","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T12:52:26","slug":"turkish-scholar-dr-sezin-zengin-farias-martinez-visits-cue-for-erasmus-teaching-mobility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cue.edu.ge\/en\/turkish-scholar-dr-sezin-zengin-farias-martinez-visits-cue-for-erasmus-teaching-mobility\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkish Scholar Dr. Sezin Zengin Far\u00edas Mart\u00ednez Visits CUE for Erasmus+ Teaching Mobility"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On <\/span><b>28 October 2025<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the <\/span><b>Central University of Europe (CUE)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in Kutaisi hosted <\/span><b>Dr. Sezin Zengin Far\u00edas Mart\u00ednez<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, M.B.A., Ph.D., from the <\/span><b>Department of Economics at Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKU), Alanya, Turkey<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, within the framework of the <\/span><b>Erasmus+ KA171 Teaching Mobility<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> programme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The visit began with a <\/span><b>welcome meeting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> attended by <\/span><b>Dr. Teona Grigolashvili<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Business and Law), <\/span><b>Mr. Giorgi Datuashvili<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Head of Strategic Development), and <\/span><b>Ms. Maka Tsertsvadze<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (International Relations Office Manager). Discussions focused on <\/span><b>academic cooperation, joint Erasmus+ projects<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and opportunities for <\/span><b>student and staff exchanges<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> between ALKU and CUE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Zengin then delivered two <\/span><b>open lectures<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for students from the programmes in <\/span><b>Economics, Business Administration, Law, and Tourism<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first lecture, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMicroeconomics: Decision Making and Market Efficiency,\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> explored how market structures, consumer behavior, and competition influence economic policy in transitional and EU contexts.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The second lecture, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIntroduction to Game Theory and Strategic Behavior,\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> introduced students to strategic interaction models and negotiation theory through vivid, real-life examples.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The sessions were <\/span><b>interactive and engaging<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, prompting students to reflect on how economic principles affect daily life. Several participants personally thanked Dr. Zengin after the lecture, emphasizing how much they enjoyed the practical and relatable approach.
