On November 24, the Central University of Europe in Kutaisi hosted an administrative delegation from the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria) within the framework of an Erasmus+ staff training mobility.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

The delegation included Ralitsa Vajarova, Head of the Human Resources Department, as well as two representatives of the Legal Department \u2014 Martin Hadzhiev and Dimitrina Blagoeva.<\/p>

During the visit, the administration of the Central university of Europe introduced the guests to the university\u2019s structure, operational specifics, and the administrative units responsible for ensuring the institution\u2019s effective management.<\/p>

The introductory meeting was attended by the deans of the Faculties of Social Sciences, Business and Law, and Medicine, as well as the heads of the Quality Assurance and Strategic Development Offices and the Student Services Center. Managers from the Offices of Academic Process Administration and International Relations also participated. Each of them presented to the guests the goals of their respective faculties or units, ongoing projects, and key processes aimed at institutional development.<\/p>

As part of the visit, thematic working meetings were also held between the representatives of the Human Resources and Legal Departments of the Bulgarian university and the corresponding administrative units of CUE.<\/p>

In the field of human resources management, the discussions covered staff professional development policies, recruitment and appointment procedures, modern HR technologies, and digitalization. During the meeting focused on legal affairs, attention was directed to the regulatory frameworks of universities, contract management, data protection standards, and issues related to institutional governance.<\/p>

The representatives of Veliko Tarnovo University were also introduced to CUE\u2019s scientific and research activities. The head of the university\u2019s research division presented the ongoing research programs, practices of international collaboration, and prospects for planning joint grant projects. These topics were of particular interest in the context of strengthening the strategic partnership between the two universities.<\/p>

At the end of the visit, the delegation toured the university\u2019s Confucius Classroom, a structure similar to the one operating at Veliko Tarnovo University. The parties discussed new opportunities for cooperation in cultural and educational fields.<\/p>
