On June 8, a public lecture titled \u201cEuropean Union Institutions and Decision-Making Procedures\u201d was held at Kutaisi University within the framework of the Summer School \u201cEurope\u2019s Digital Strategy for Future Entrepreneurs and Leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n
The lecture was delivered by invited expert Ioseb Nanobashvili, organized by the Information Center on NATO and the EU of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, within the project \u201cIncreasing Public Awareness and Resilience.\u201d At the end of the lecture, a closing ceremony for the Summer School took place.<\/p>\n
At the concluding event, the participants were congratulated on successfully completing the course by Theona Grigolashvili, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Business and Law at Kutaisi University. Professors of Social Sciences, Business and Law at Kutaisi University \u2014 Nikoloz Chikhladze and Paata Kldiashvili \u2014 spoke about the necessity and importance of the course. The participants were also welcomed by Marika Vacharadzde, the Imereti representative of the Information Center on NATO and the EU of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who emphasized the cooperation with Kutaisi University and introduced students to the Center\u2019s activities. The session brought together students, academic staff, and external stakeholders to examine the EU\u2019s strategic approach to digital transformation, including governance challenges, digital sovereignty, and the role of emerging technologies in shaping the European economy and society.<\/p>\n
Following the welcome speeches, certificates were awarded to the participants.<\/p>\n
The Jean Monnet Module \u201cEurope\u2019s Digital Strategy for Future Entrepreneurs and Leaders\u201d aimed to promote the implementation of digital tools across various sectors. In addition, the module sought to raise public awareness about the European Union\u2019s digital strategic priorities and the importance of digital transformation.<\/p>\n
Outstanding participants of the Summer School will have the opportunity to take part in the preparation of a new project envisaged by the module and submit the project to relevant funds.
