On April 28–29, a professional development seminar for English language teachers was held at the Central university of Europe’’ , funded by the U.S. Department of State’s English Language Specialist Program.
The seminar was led by Dr. John Levis, a professor at Iowa State University.
English language teachers from educational institutions operating in Kutaisi participated in the seminar, representing both public and private schools as well as universities.
Professor John Levis spoke about speech instruction and modern practical approaches to pronunciation. As part of a consultative meeting with doctoral students, issues related to research and academic publishing were also discussed.
The event organized by the ‘’Central university of Europe’’ contributes to strengthening academic knowledge and experience in the region.
