On March 5th, a public lecture on the topic ‘Hypertension – the #1 Killer in the World’ was held at the Central university of Europe, organized by the Faculty of Medicine. The lecture was led by Vazha Agladze, an affiliated professor of theCentral university of Europe. (cardiologist, and a member of the Board of the Hypertension Research Society.)
The lecture covered the global prevalence of arterial hypertension, its impact on cardiovascular diseases, as well as prevention and modern management approaches based on international recommendations.
Similar educational activities aim to promote the professional development of students and young doctors, as well as raise public awareness on health issues.
The meeting was held in an interactive format.
