Within the framework of the 2025 Student Initiatives Competition at Central University of Europe, the winning project titled “First Aid” was successfully implemented. The initiative was developed by international students of the Faculty of Medicine, who conducted a basic first aid training for school students.
The training included both theoretical and practical components. Participants gained essential knowledge on proper response in emergency situations, assessment of a victim’s condition, bleeding control, and basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills.
The project was implemented with the support of the Student and Alumni Services Center and the Simulation Center. A total of 20 beneficiaries participated in the training; they were selected in cooperation with the partner organization IEDA.
The areas of student initiative project proposals include social, cultural, educational, innovative, research, and technological projects.
