On May 8, at the, Central University of Europe, the winning project of the Student Initiatives Competition, “First Aid,” took place. The project is implemented by international students from the Faculty of Medicine and continues actively for those interested.
During the event, the university hosted members of the “Young Scientist” club from the Niko Nikoladze School-Lyceum, who were introduced to basic first aid skills.
The training included both theoretical and practical components. Participants gained essential knowledge on responding correctly in emergency situations, assessing the condition of the injured, controlling bleeding, and basic techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Through practical exercises, students were able to apply the knowledge they had acquired in a setting that closely simulated real-life situations, developing relevant skills.
The event was organized with the support of the Student and Alumni Services Center and the Simulation Center of the Faculty of Medicine.
