A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between the Central University of Europe and Saint Cyril and Saint Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo, one of the leading and historically significant higher education institutions in Bulgaria.
The Memorandum creates a framework for institutional partnership and aims to develop academic cooperation and research activities, organize joint scientific events, promote research and knowledge dissemination, and deepen international ties.
The document also emphasizes the importance of sharing academic resources, supporting innovation and long-term cooperation.
The partnership between the two institutions extends to the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 program, which additionally ensures the development of academic mobility and the enrichment of international experience of students and staff.
As a result of the agreement, Veliko Tarnovo University becomes the fourth official partner of the Central University Europe in Bulgaria, significantly expanding the university’s involvement in the Bulgarian academic space and strengthening regional cooperation.
