On October 16, The central University of Europe hosted a public lecture on the topic “Green Business Transition for Small and Medium Enterprises.”
The lecture was delivered by Ms. Līga Siliņiece, lecturer at Alberta College (Latvia).
The session aimed to highlight the importance and practical aspects of green transition, using small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as key examples. Ms. Siliņiece discussed in detail the dynamics of negotiations between consumers and suppliers within the context of the green transition process.
Additionally, she shared real-life case studies from Latvian SMEs, allowing students to deepen their understanding of sustainable business models and gain insights into European perspectives on environmental sustainability and economic transformation.
