On June 20, 2025, the 4th Students’ Medical-Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Medicine at the Central University of Europe was held, where participants presented both the challenges and achievements in the medical field.
Three outstanding student-led studies were recognized: “Can AI Outperform Human Reasoning in Problem-Based Clinical Scenarios?”; “Addressing Tuberculosis in Georgia: Incidence, Household Contact Risk, Extrapulmonary Challenges, and Clinical Reflections”; and “Spina Bifida’s Possible Last Stand in West Georgia’s Evolving Healthcare Landscape.” The authors of these works were awarded symbolic gifts.
The primary goal of the conference was to boost young researchers’ motivation, foster their active participation in scientific research, and help them develop essential skills in research, presentation, and academic defense.
A collection of abstracts based on the presented papers was published, and all participants received certificates of participation at the conclusion of the event.
