The Central University of Europe is successfully participating in the EU Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program project ERIC-GE – “Strengthening Research and Innovation Capacities in Georgian Higher Education Institutions”.
On February 18-19, the coordinating organization of the project, Techinform Institute, hosted a two-day working meeting within the framework of the ERASMUS+ CBHE project ERIC-GE, which was the consortium’s first official meeting and the project’s official launch.
From the Central University of Europe the Rector, Professor Gocha Tutberidze, the Head of the Strategic Development Service, and the Director of the Research Institute of Economics participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the progress of the project was discussed. The European partners participating in the project presented the training module and provided information about the training courses. Additionally, the dissemination plan, which is being implemented by the Central University of Europe, was discussed.
The ERIC-GE project represents an investment in the future and is an important step forward in the development of the research and innovation ecosystem. The project contributes to the deepening of technological knowledge, the development of human capital, and the spread of education based on European values.
It is noteworthy that through participation in the project, the university will develop international cooperation, improve the quality of research, and ensure compatibility with European governance methods. This project further strengthens the Central European University’s strategic goals of promoting internationalization and advancing research development.
The ERIC-GE project, funded by the European Union, will be implemented over the next two years and involves 6 Georgian and 2 European universities. The activities include the introduction of modern research methods, the development of innovative educational courses, and the empowerment of young researchers. The project coordinator is the Techinform Institute of the Georgian Technical University.
