The International Diabetes Federation and the World Health Organization celebrate World Diabetes Day on November 14.
The celebration of World Diabetes Day covers the most important problems related to this disease and calls on government, public organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and doctors to join forces to change the situation of people with diabetes for the better.
The Faculty of Medicine of the Central University of Europe, with the support of the National Institute of Endocrinology, implemented the project “Diabetes at different stages of life”.
Event was held in the territory of the Kutaisi Central Park, which served to raise awareness of the population about diabetes. The population underwent blood glucose testing, received consultations from an endocrinologist, and gift vouchers for the purchase of glucometers were distributed.
