Why Kutaisi?
Central University of Europe is located in the center of the historical and beautiful city of Kutaisi, Georgia. As one of the largest Orthodox monasteries of the Middle Ages, Gelati Monastery was also a center of science and education. Gelati Academy was one of the most important cultural centers of ancient Georgia.
Another magnificent historical monument, the Bagrat Cathedral (X-XI centuries), which is a unique example of architectural craftsmanship.
