Within the framework of the EU 2025 ERASMUS+ CBHE (Capacity Building in Higher Education) project “Strengthening Research and Innovation Capacities in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia” (ERIC-GE), the first National Meeting was held in Tbilisi at New Uni Higher Education Institution.
During the meeting, representatives of the partner universities shared their institutional experiences, discussed the project-defined work packages, their objectives and expected outcomes, and agreed on the project implementation timeline as well as the next steps for further action.
The project is coordinated by Techinform, an institute of the Georgian Technical University. It represents an important opportunity to strengthen research and educational potential and to expand international cooperation. Within the framework of the ERIC-GE project, the University will be actively involved in the implementation of innovative approaches, as well as in enhancing the research capacities of young researchers and students.
The ERIC-GE project, funded by the European Union, will be implemented over the next two years and involves six Georgian and two European universities. The main objective of the project is to promote the international integration of research and innovation, in which the central University of Europe will play an active and significant role.
