The Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module Winter School “Europe’s Digital Strategy for Future Entrepreneurs and Leaders” has concluded at Kutaisi University.

The Jean Monnet program aims to expand knowledge about European integration processes through teaching, research, and debates on topics related to the European Union’s history, politics, economy, and legislation, as well as its relations with other regions of the world. A key objective of the program is to integrate the European dimension into higher education systems. The program operates in 78 countries, with an educational network encompassing over 800 universities. Since 2013, the Jean Monnet program has been integrated into the Erasmus+ program. The competition involved students of international relations from Kutaisi University, as well as business, economics, law, and other universities, along with final-year (XI-XII) high school students from Georgia. Sessions for the Winter School participants were led by professors from Kutaisi University and the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. All participants received bilingual certificates upon successful completion of the course. Outstanding participants of the Winter School had the opportunity to develop new projects envisioned by the module and present them. All participants of the Winter School can also engage in other Jean Monnet activities at Kutaisi University, meet decision-makers, and participate in discussions.
